Well, Lincoln did very well with his cath procedure. The cardiologists were able to place the stent in his ductus and all went well. I am so proud of my little man. He was schnockered from the anesthesia for over a day, it took him a long time to wake up, but when he did he looked good. The next day they took him back to the OR to have a cath placed in his heart so that they would not have to poke him so much to put in other lines to administer meds. This line to his heart should last longer than any other line- that is what we are hoping.
After his recovery from the two procedures he was stable enough to move back down to the NICU. We have been able to hold him which has been soooo nice. He is looking much more relaxed and peaceful. He is just sleeping and being fed very slowly. His job now is to "Rest and Grow," and bulk up for his total heart repair in a few months.

We hope that Lincoln continues to do well, and "behaves himself " (as the nurses say). It is all up to him and what his body does. We pray he will continue to be strong and fight. Auntie Dar got our little fighter these cool boxing gloves- they are so cute and fit his personality perfectly:):)
