First Bath

This weekend Aunt Nee Nee came to visit and Lincoln got to experience his first bath. He has never been able to take a proper bath because of his leg wound. The plastic surgeon checked his leg last Monday and cleared him for bathing and swimming etc. We were so excited to see his reaction to the water and he actually loved it. At first he was a little confused as to what we were doing as you can see from the picture, but within a few minutes he was relaxed and enjoying it.
By the end he didn't want to get out!
We enjoyed having Aunt Nee Nee here. Lincoln loves her and it was so cute to see them interact. He loved to play with her hair and liked to sit on her lap and play.
He always looks so intense and serious when I try to snap a picture.

We went for a walk around Lake Las Vegas on Sunday and Lincoln took a nap as we checked out the place. It was such a beautiful day!
I love watching our boy sleep, it never gets old. His sleep schedule has done a 360 in the last few weeks. He slept through the night the last few nights and he has been so happy during the day. It is so fun to see his real personality-  I can't believe how sweet he is.

We are headed to LA this Wednesday. We have an appointment at Shriner's Hospital. We hope they will be able to help him with future care of his leg and possibly prostheses. We will keep you updated.

It's so neat to see him developing!! YAY, Lincoln!! My kids are still praying for him everyday. Now that he's part of the routine, he may be in there for good. :) Love you, Kim!

Hi, I am a friend if Gina Randall's and have been following your blog since Lincoln was born. I am a trained NICU nurse and watched his progress with bated breath and a prayer in my heart. I am soooo happy to see that he is doing so well. His and your story has touched my heart. Your faith and trust in Heavenly Father as stregthened my testimony and made me even more aware that He does perform miracle. May there be nothing but joy from now on in as you watch your little man go into a robust man!
Kind regards
