The Power of Love

I am so in LOVE with my little man. Today was one of those days where I felt like my heart was beating outside of my chest with love for this two foot, 14 pound little hunk of a boy.
He is my sunshine. I love this pic that a friend took a while back... the expression on my face says it all...
He makes me sooo happy. I always say it and I will say it again that he never ceases to amaze us with what a strong little guy he is. He is doing so well, and I am in awe of his spirit and love of all people. He is a delight to be around and he makes me and so many others happy.

We just returned from Reno where we enjoyed spring break and a busting schedule filled with family, friends and Dave's Mom's wedding. Lincoln was adorned with love everywhere we went and he ate it up. He absolutely LOVES his cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents. It is so fun to watch him interact and love on everyone.

This visit was extra special because Lincoln was finally able to meet a few of his cousins he had never met yet.

He adored his girl cousins and all their kisses!                     .

We are thankful that we were able to be in town for Dave's moms wedding. It turned out beautifully and
they were quite the good looking couple. We are so happy for them!

Lincoln loved Jessica. He cracked up at her every time she talked to him.

After the wedding we headed to Davis to visit my Grandma whom had only met Lincoln when he was a 3 pounder and very ill in the NICU. It was so fun to watch them connect. Lincoln loved her sooo much.

She had him laughing so hard. It was the cutest thing ever!
He sat across the table from her at all the meals and interacted and smiled at her the whole time. It was magical. My grandma is VERY special to me, and it has always been a dream of mine to have my children know and love her as much as I do.

We sat at the table after meals and talked a lot. Among many things we discussed, we talked a lot about  Lincoln and how well he is doing now. She is amazed at his progress and mentioned quite a few times that she believed he survived because of all the love he was surrounded with through those tough first few months.  There is not a doubt in my mind that she is completely right. He is alive and thriving because of all the love and prayers of his family, friends, and many others that had never met him, but were somehow invested in his well being. He is here today because of all of you and the love he felt from you in some degree.

You can never underestimate the power of LOVE. It can heal all things and literally save lives.
He is proof...
